The Autumn Hills of the Highlands

This glass piece is based loosely on the Lagangarbh Hut in Autumn and Buachaille Etive M`or. This is a well known historical hut that’s part of the Scottish National trust and mountain in the Scottish Highlands, close to Glencoe. In the image includes the water of the River Etive and is depicted with the top of the ridges only partially visible through storm clouds. The River is depicted as reflecting the reeds along its edge, the sky above, and the mountain itself.

Initial background glass used in this piece was white, very little translucence in the overall piece.
